I’ve been told I was singing with words before I could speak otherwise. Music has always been my way of feeling life. For too long other things took up my time. Some time ago I lost a dear friend to cancer. After one of the saddest moments of my life I decided to CHASE MY DREAMS – to sing again and to grow as an artist. I’ve been taking singing lessons for three years now – doing something that truly brings me joy.
Encouraged by friends I took things further. With the help of a music enthusiast Pekka Niikkonen I released three cover songs.
My one dream come true was to sing a duet. The song that made it happen was ”I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan—a track that brings me back to my younger years when life felt as easy as the sea breeze. A huge talent, artist Joe Carolus, offered to sing this with me. And now I have my first own song, “Obi“, which tells a true story of a best kind of bond with a friend with four paws.
For me music is all about strong emotions, meaningful lyrics and storytelling. That’s why artists like Leonard Cohen, Dire Straits and Bruce Springsteen have always been my biggest inspirations. I hope my voice and music can take you on a journey too.
After all this blaaaaa-blaaaaa… you want to hear me sing, right?
